Although theres no need to open the lid to fill the kettle, thanks to Oventes innovative ProntoFill lid, there is an easy push-open lid to facilitate cleaning. The spout filter that ensures you get debris-free water every time is also removable and can be easily cleaned. And the stainless steel concealed heating element helps to reduce mineral build-up so you wont need to descale your kettle so often. Press the switch at the base of the kettle, and it illuminates red. Once boiled the switch lifts up and the red light shuts off. For your convenience the base has built-in cord storage slots.
