This Dryer Cycling Thermostat monitors and regulates the temperature inside the dryer. If your appliance isn’t heating as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To access the part, you’ll need to remove the large back panel of the dryer, then remove the wires and 1/4-inch screw that holds the old thermostat into its housing. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
